About Me
I am an undergraduate student studying Political Science at the University of Delaware in my senior year. I have minors in Forensic Science and History. Throughout my life, I have been interested in photography ever since I was hastily given a camera at the Vatican on a family trip. As a child, I attended photography camps
to grow my eye. On and off, I have taken a few classes since then, although my skills have been mainly used as an occasional hobby today.

Course Goals

In this course, one of my goals is to grow my understanding and practice of portrait photography. Most of my experience has been centered on landscape and nature photography, which, as a challenge to myself, I want to expand into other genres. A second goal is to improve my editing skills. I have previously relied on my eye and chosen not to edit my photography because of my limited experience in editing. My third goal is to play with light. I traditionally have relied on natural light, but I would like to learn how to use a variety of different light sources.
