Reflection on Dozen Photo Challenge

"The Daisy," in my eyes, was the show stopper. Within the image, it encaptures the depth and magnitude that a hard light exhumes. In comparison to the other photographs, it grabs the viewer with the depth of the petals and the precision within the image. The most challenging aspect of this assignment was finding the different photography aspects (lighting, colors, etc.) in the wild. Throughout the week, I have focused on taking photos, but often what naturally occurred did not match the listed categories. In the future, I will need to work on using artificial lighting and choosing to create images rather than relying on what naturally can occur. This will strengthen my ability to photograph by growing my portfolio and not only looking at the beauty of nature but also at artificial beauty.
